Professional Background

There are many dentists that can provide patients with implants but there are only a few who have been trained to such a high level. Nigel has completed many years of Post-graduate training and has successfully placed over 1,000 implants. Having been awarded the Royal College of Surgeons advanced diploma in Implantology he is now a tutor on the diploma course. He has also studied bone-grafting techniques in Graz, Austria, and Frankfurt, Germany.

Nigel has the skill and expertise to carry out treatments beyond general dentistry, so you know you are in safe hands. He is also a member of the Association of Dental Implantologists and the faculty of General Dental Practice (UK). Nigel also acts as Dental Advisor for Post-graduate Education in Wales and the Marches. He is fully indemnified by Dental Protection Limited for whom he also works as a local advisor. Most implant work is undertaken using intravenous sedation for which he has received the recognised training and accreditation.
